A small-town girl with an urban sense of style - Marina’s ambitious attitude compliments her creative eye. Taking a consultative approach, she’ll listen to what you want and envision, then use her expertise to create a look that is uniquely yours, a style you will love and can manage! As salon co-owner, Marina is passionate about high-performance products, unparalleled service and creating an environment where people look forward to spending time.

SUE GREGOR
STYLIST
After 37 years in the business and 27 years as the co-owner of Hairchitects, Sue stepped down, but couldn’t stay away from the career and salon she loves so much! She considers her co-workers family, and the clients another extension. Over the years, Sue has seen generations of families come through her chair, and always begins with a trusting and wise ear. She specializes in cutting and styling the hair of “mature” women, but is skilled in many areas.

STYLIST
Maggie graduated from Aveda Institute in 2003 and found her place at Hairchitects in 2009. She loves being a day maker, listening, and customizing colors and cuts her clients love. Up on the latest, her favorites are doing reds, balayage, and new styling trends. Usually running around with a cup of coffee in hand, she’s happiest when busy, whether at the salon or chasing her three kids around.

ALYCIA KOCINA
STYLIST
Alycia views herself as an artist creating a masterpiece: her client’s hair is her canvas and she has the honor of bringing forth their natural beauty. She has an innate gift of being truly present to whomever is in front of her - just one of the many ways she makes everyone feel so loved and beautiful! A few years ago, Alycia dove into another of her passions and opened Mainstream Boutique in Waconia…now she gets the best of both worlds: beauty and fashion!

STYLIST & MAKEUP ARTIST
With training from the Aveda Institute and a BS in Mass Communication/ Advertising, Danielle is a multi-faceted and creative stylist of 19 years! Danielle specializes in razor cutting and creating short, sassy cuts, which matches her own spunky attitude! She is also well-versed in makeup. Danielle loves that her clients welcome her into their lives by trusting her and treating her like family. She is like a ‘sister’ to many, and will give you fashion advice or lipstick recommendations as she would her own sisters.

Erin Monseth comes to us from California, bringing her sunny personality and zeal for all things hair, fashion, and makeup. She loves a good blonde moment and spends most of her time perfecting her blonde clients. She is a wife and mother to a 1 year old boy and would spend all her time in the sunshine if she could. Erin’s latest hobbies are making sourdough bread and growing house plants. Erin wants you to feel heard, cared for and loved as you sit in her chair at the salon.

As a mom of three who loves exploring, Lisa has a creative personality which elevates her passion for hair. After listening to her clients’ vision, Lisa creates an individualized look and equips them with the knowledge they need to replicate it at home. She loves helping her clients feel good about their inner and outer beauty and looks forward to building a relationship during the process. Her specialty is color change and color corrections, but Lisa can set you up with just about any practical style.

After her training at the Aveda Institute, Saydee spent a few years working in Minneapolis before realizing her appreciation for the smaller, hometown feel. She is always amazed by the loyalty and love she receives from her clients; the simplest things can put a smile on her face! Saydee has a passion for coloring, styling, and extensions; she loves all aspects of the industry. You can trust her to provide the hairstyle you envisioned, and gain a bit of positive energy from her upbeat personality in the process!

AMY SHAW-VALENTIN
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Amy Shaw-Valentin comes to Hairchitects Salon & Spa with nine years of experience. With specialties in deep tissue massage, reflexology, and hot and cold therapies, Amy’s goal is for you to leave the massage feeling like your inflammation, toxins, and tensions are released! She loves helping solve the day-to-day wear and tear on the body, and relieving swelling and pain are her top priorities. When she is not at the spa, you can catch Amy singing in her rock band or teaching classes at the Minnesota School of Cosmetology.

NURSE INJECTOR
Registered Nurse turned Certified Nurse Injector, LaRissa Wagner has a warm personality and passion for helping her clients feel beautiful and happy! LaRissa worked at Hairchitects as a receptionist during high school, and 12 years later finds herself back, and this time in the spa! She specializes in Botox, Skin Pen/PRP, and Fillers, and strives to ensure every client feels comfortable with the service being provided.
